          A TRAVEL TO   INDIA GATE

Online technologies have removed the barriers of time, cost and location from the learning activities and experiences available to students. Virtual field trips allow learners to engage with and to learn about authentic artifacts and to explore places important to their discipline of study and consistent with their individual learning needs. During a virtual field trip students can be guided through museums, historical documents, national monuments and agencies or organizations specific to the course content.vritual tour maybe defined as the collection of some panoramic images that sequentially played to  like  a moving video with added sound and texteffect.Sree Narayana Traning College ,Negunganda, provide link for the virtual field trip to allow the students  to have 360 -degree view of the famous monument INDIA GATE
India Gate, Delhi Overview
India Gate, official name Delhi Memorial, at first called All-India War Memorial, tremendous sandstone bend in New Delhi, focused on the fighters of British India who died in wars battled somewhere in the range of 1914 and 1919. India Gate, which is situated at the eastern end of the Rajpath (formerly called the Kingsway). This 42-meter tall historical structure was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and is one among the largest war memorials within the country. India Gate is additionally famous for hosting the Republic Day Parade every year.

Dedicated to 82,000 Indian and British soldiers who died during the first war and thus the Third Anglo-Afghan War, this monument has the names of 13,300 servicemen inscribed on its surface. The premises of India Gatealso houses the Amar Jawan Jyoti, which may be a kindled structure right underneath the archway. Owing to its rich historical background and astonishing architecture, India Gate has become one among the foremost popular picnic spots within the city.
India Gate, official name Delhi Memorial, initially called All-India War Memorial, The construction of the India Gate started in the year 1921, committed to the soldiers of British and India who died in First World War battled between 1914 and 1919. India Gate. The Duke of Connaught laid the foundation stone of the war memorial on 10th February 1921, and the memorial was finally inaugurated by Lord Irwin, India’s Viceroy on 12th February 1931. It was dedicated to all the soldiers who laid their lives during the war so that the future generations would remember them for the noble sacrifice they made for the love of their country.Sir Edwin LutyvCens, who structured the India Gate, was a main war remembrance planner and was additionally an individual from CWGC. He built it as a secular memorial freed from any religious association or cultural ornamentation. Also, Lutyens wanted the monument to be a classical one, so refused to include any Asian motifs like pointed arches. The style of architecture of India Gate is that of a monument and is usually compared with the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the Gateway of India in Mumbai, and the Arch of Constantine in Rome.
About 150 meters towards the east of the India Gate, there’s a cover that was inbuilt 1936 as a tribute to former Emperor of India, King George V. There wont to be a marble statue of George V , but it had been removed because of opposition from some political parties after India’s independence. Currently the statue is found in Delhi’s Coronation Park.

India Gate also houses a little structure called Amar Jawan Jyoti, which consists of a marble pedestal with a cenotaph on its top. The cenotaph has the words ‘Amar Jawan’ written on all four sides in golden letters and also features a reversed rifle, capped by a soldier helmet, installed on that. Every year on 26th January India gate stands witness to the Republic Day parade where latest advancements of defence technology is displayed. The parade is also a good platform to have a glimpse at the colourful and diverse cultural heritage of India as artists from all over the country perform on the occasion.

REFLECTION OF SECOND WEEK TEACHING PRACTICE

10/1/2022  പതിവുപോലെ 9 മണിക്ക് തന്നെ സ്കൂളിൽ എത്തിച്ചേർന്നു. രജിസ്റ്ററിൽ ഒപ്പു വെച്ചതിനു ശേഷം ടെമ്പറേച്ചർ ചെക്ക് ചെയ്യുവാനും സാനിറ്റൈസർ നൽകുവാനും പോയി.  ഇന്ന് സെക്കൻഡ് ബാച്ച് നായിരുന്നു ക്ലാസ്സ്.  9 30 ന് തന്നെ ക്ലാസ്സുകൾ ആരംഭിച്ചു.ഇന്നെനിക്ക് പിരീഡ് ഒന്നും തന്നെ ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു.അതിനാൽ ദർശനയുടെ ക്ലാസ് നിരീക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ സെക്കൻഡ് പിരീഡ്  ഞാൻ പോയി. കുട്ടികൾ വളരെ അച്ചടക്കത്തോടെ കൂടിയാണ് ദർശനയുടെ ക്ലാസ്സ് കേട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നത്.                  ക്ലാസ്സ് കഴിഞ്ഞതിനു ശേഷം ഞങ്ങൾ  സ്റ്റാഫ് റൂമിൽ എത്തുകയും കുട്ടികളെപ്പറ്റി സംസാരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ. ഞങ്ങൾ നാലു സയൻസ്   ടീച്ചേഴ്സ് കൂടി ആലോചിച്ച് ഒരു തീരുമാനം സ്കൂളിലെ ടീച്ചേഴ്സും ആയി ചർച്ച ചെയ്തു.   ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരു സയൻസ് കോർണർ നടത്തുവാൻ ആയിരുന്നു തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. കുട്ടികളുടെ കഴിവുകൾ പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ ഒരു അവസരമായിട്ടാണ് ഞങ്ങളത് നടത്തുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചത്.  അതിനായി കുട്ടികളിൽ നിന്നും സിനി മോഡലുകളും അർത്ഥം മോഡലുകളും കളക്ട് ചെയ്തു അത് പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ഒരു അനുമതി ഞ...

4/1/2022  -7/1/2022  വളരെയധികം ആശങ്കകൾ ഓടും സംശയങ്ങൾ ഓടും കൂടിയാണ് സ്കൂളിലെ ആദ്യ ദിനത്തിലേക്ക് കടന്നത്. ഒരു വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയിൽ നിന്നും മാറി അധ്യാപിക ആയി ഞാൻ പഠിച്ച സ്കൂളിൽ തന്നെ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ വളരെ അധികം അഭിമാനം തോന്നി                      ആദ്യ ദിവസം തന്നെ ഞങ്ങൾ 11 പേരും കൃത്യം ഒൻപതു മണിക്ക് ജി എം എച്ച് എസ് എസ് വർക്കല സ്കൂളിൽ എത്തിച്ചേർന്നു. അതിനുശേഷം പ്രഥമ അധ്യാപികയുടെ നിർദേശങ്ങൾ നമുക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു. വളരെ വിശദമായി അധ്യാപിക ഞങ്ങളോട് സ്കൂളിനെ പറ്റിയും സ്കൂളിന്റെ അച്ചടക്ക മര്യാദകളെ പറ്റിയും കുട്ടികളെയും കുട്ടികൾ വരുന്ന സാഹചര്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും ഉള്ള ഒരു വ്യക്തമായ ധാരണ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് നൽകി അതിനുശേഷം അധ്യാപിക ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി  ഒരു ക്ലാസ് റൂം നൽകി. വളരെയധികം സൗകര്യങ്ങളുള്ള ഒരു സ്മാർട്ട് റൂം ആയിരുന്നു നമുക്ക് ലഭിച്ചത്.  ആദ്യദിനത്തിൽ എനിക്ക് ക്ലാസുകൾ ഒന്നും എടുക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങൾ നൽകിയിരുന്നു അധ്യാപിക ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ക്ലാസ്സുകളിൽ ചെന്ന് കുട്ടികളുമായി പരിചയപ്പെടാൻ ഒരു അവസരം നൽകി. എട്ടാം ക്ലാസിലെ കുട...
